hehe, well, yeah. i tried drawing brainy. i actually tried 8 times, but the they all failed... except for the ninth one.

I got addicted to LoSH (legion of super heroes) and my favorite legionair is Brainiac 5 (aka Brainy). I mean, who doesn't like 12th level intelligence?! And you can't argue with the yellow-green-purple/magenta-black combination XD. And, he invented the flight ring. The FLIGHT ring!!
and i just want to pinch his cheeks

but yeah. when i watched the second season, i thought, "why in the world did they change his appearance?" not cause i didn't like the new brainy, but because i couldn't draw him. >.<

the quote is from the episode, "brain drain," where brainy goes crazy for a short amount of time. he was saying that when superman said he'd go to some-name planet to get something that would turn brainy back to normal. The planet, though, was under the red sun, and superman's powers don't work under the red sun. and superman didn't know that. so brainy was probably talking (trying to, at least) or warning about that. except everyone thought he was crazy.

... and semichibi is like, a half chibi, half nonchibi. I'm not sure if you could make a semichibi out of brainy, since he's already sorta runty, but still. I can do chibi's, too, which are fat-ish, or chibi's chibi, which is so adorable! i've only done it once, cause on complicating chari's it's hard to do. i was drawing peter's chibi's chibi.
